I am finally blogging Liz & Raj’s Las Vegas wedding at Aria Hotel and it has me wanting to go back and relive this day over and over. From the bride’s two Galia Lahav gowns, draping, to the candy pink florals and the linens, this wedding still feels like a dream. The wedding day was actually day 3 of the celebration, I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
When Liz told me she had 14 bridesmaids you should have seen my reaction. Immediately I started thinking about how in the world we were going to fit that many ladies into a hair and makeup schedule. Where would we fit all of them? How are we going to manage to wrangle 14 girls and try to keep them in one place without going MIA before the wedding? Will there be drama? How are we going to make sure all of them get fitted properly for both of their dresses? Let me tell you… as soon as I met these ladies at the bridal shower I breathed a sigh of relief. I have never worked with a better group of bridesmaids! These girls catered to Liz and understood the importance of being on time and in the right place. Never once did I have to send out a search party to find a missing bridesmaid and we ended up running on schedule the entire weekend. I guess what they say is true- the more the merrier !
Have you heard of a bridesmaid reveal? When I found out I was one of the very few people who had actually seen the brides wedding dress before the wedding day you can only imagine how special I felt! Liz revealed her dress to her bridesmaids for the first time on the morning of the wedding and their reaction was priceless
The ceremony featured a mirrored aisle runner and pink florals lining the aisle.
When Liz and I began discussing the ceremony portion of her wedding she had a lot of things at the top of her “must have list”. We flew in her officiant, had a gospel choir, a DJ, mirrored aisle runner, and yes …we had an Elvis. Liz thought it would be hilarious to prank her guests into thinking they had hired Elvis to marry them. I couldn’t wait to see the guests reaction/confusion when they saw Elvis walking down the aisle in this very sophisticated non-chapel ceremony at Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. After Elvis walked down and stood at the front of the aisle we had the REAL officiant come in and say “Elvis, you can leave the building”-We got a good laugh from the guests, and I am sure, a sigh of relief.
We love seeing the grooms reaction when he sees his bride for the first time. Raj completely blown away by Liz’s beauty and her stunning couture dress. By the looks on their guests, her Galia Lahav gown was definitely a jaw dropper.
Elizabeth and Raj’s first dance was romantic and sweet and added a great element of surprise when the fireworks went off! The ultimate goal was to have a continuous “wow” factor for their guests all night long and it was definitely successful! ⠀
Their grand entrance into the reception was over the top with Lebanese drummers, a band, DJ, belly dancers, and fireworks at the end!
Each guest’s place setting featured a modern gold charger plate, as well as a menu card with a short personalized note from the couple!
We are so grateful to have such amazing creative partners! Layers of Lovely special ordered these larger than life candelabras for us and boy were they breathtaking !
During the reception Liz changed into her second Galia Lahav gown and had her glam squad switch up her hair to a fun updo for the reception that was more suitable for dancing!
The Aria ballroom was adorned with lavish floral arrangements and candlelight for this romantic reception.
