I didn’t post anything yesterday about the tragedy that has affected our city because I truly could not find the words. I am heartbroken for the innocent people that lost their lives and for their families that are left to pick up the pieces and try to move on. I have had so many close friends and even clients that were there that night and although I cannot imagine what it was like to go through something that horrific I am praying they all can find the strength to get through this. I have tears in my eyes as I write this because I have never felt anything hit this close to home.  I am so angry that someone could be so senseless and evil, I just don’t get it. I am proud of my city and for all of the people that risked their lives on Sunday to save others.  I am praying hard right now for my friends, for my city, for the doctors and nurses working around the clock, for the victims still in the hospital, for the families of the victims, and for PEACE. I pray that God watches over out city in these rough weeks and months to come.  It just doesn’t feel right to return to work and “normal” life but I truly believe that Love is greater than evil and I plan to Love hard right now.  Romans 12:21 “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
