Justine and Connor, a Canadian couple reached out to me about their Las Vegas wedding at Chateau nightclub. The bride, a wedding photographer had a vision I just couldn’t help but want to be a part of. She wanted to transform the industrial roof-top nightclub into a lush garden with tropical greenery. Some of my favorite details from this wedding were the monster and palm leaf accents ( I have a secret obsession with this type of greenery), the all white bridesmaid dresses, their unconventional order of events for the ceremony and reception, ( the bride and groom went straight into their first dance following the ceremony and combined cocktail hour with the reception so guests could start the party right away), and the their very unique wedding ceremony!
During the ceremony the couple faced their guests in front of a calligraphy canvas with the officiant to one side and the entire bridal party on the other. We did this to keep the couple in focus and center stage the entire time. The bridal party was not separated with women and men on each side, we kept them all together. We had guests grab one of the couple’s favorite cocktails from bar carts as they entered the ceremony. The guests cheered our couple right as they said I do in celebration! Justine and Conner went straight into their first dance following the ceremony and skipped the traditional cocktail hour so they could get the party started right away. Food stations provided an unpretentious and fun experience for the guests, so they could mingle and dance with the couple under the beautiful Paris Hotel’s Eiffel Tower!
